The Infineon IRLHS2242TRPBF is a surface mount 6-PQFN (2x2) part featuring a P-channel MOSFET. This part can handle 20V with a maximum Drain- Source on-state resistance of 0.028 Ohm and is capable of delivering 7.2A (Ta) or 15A (Tc) of continuous current, with 2.1W (Ta) or 9.6W (Tc) of maximum power dissipation respectively. The part has ESD robustness of up to 8 kV and also exhibits fast switching with a rise time of 13 ns. It is particularly attractive for applications thanks to its high drain current, low on-resistance and thin (2mm X 2mm) package size.
