The switch actuates and deactuates at a designed temperature by the deflection of the disc due to thermal expansion. It has a low cost and thermal cycling reliability and has a wide range of temperatures available from -10~+250°C. The RoHS compliant switch is used for most of the switching applications like control of gas appliances, heating elements, and humidifier and is available in pin-in/pin-out versions.
