The Vishay VBPW34VR is a surface mount photodiode for RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) applications. It is packaged in a miniature side-view silicone package with a 4 mm lead pitch. The device has a spectral sensitivity of 410 to 1100 nm, a peak spectral sensitivity of 940 nm, and a standard optical orientation.
