The Vishay TCMT1106 is a tantalum capacitor that is designed for use in high-frequency electrical applications. It is more reliable than aluminum electrolytic capacitors and is available in a wide range of capacitance, temperature range, and maximum voltage. The TCMT1106 features an anode, which is connected to a manganese dioxide cathode and is made from a MnO2-doped polymeric film. This provides excellent noise suppression and high dielectric strength. It also features a self-high voltage and a low ESR (Equivalent Series Resistance) of 1.25 ohms. Additionally, it is RoHS compliant and resistant to extreme temperatures.
