TechnologiesThe UT3232G-P16-R is a RS232 IC made by Unisonic Technologies. It is a 2/2 250Kbps 3V ~ 5.5V TSSOP-16 package that is RoHS compliant. The device has integrated power and ground pins which are used to provide power and ground voltage levels for the RS232 interface. The UT3232G-P16-R RS232 IC uses an effective voltage level translation and gain boosting of the control lines, as well as an improved ground-referencing technique for better compatibility with existing RS232 interfaces. This device is capable of operating at all baud rates up to 250Kbps, and supports 5V logic levels, as well as 3V to 5.5V I/O voltage levels. Additionally, the device has integrated protection against over current, under voltage and overtemperature.
