The TLP3906 is a monolithic IC voltage regulator device consisting of a built-in, high-side N-channel power MOS FET, high and low power ON/OFF control, and overvoltage protection. It has excellent output current, low output voltage ripple, and high power output voltage accuracy. It can be used in applications where a large current is required with a low dropout voltage, including battery-powered systems. Additionally, this voltage regulator can be used to design simple and efficient DC-DC converters. The device features an output voltage range of 1.2V to 10.2V and is able to supply up to 2.25A of regulated current.
