The 74VHC540FT(BJ) is a low voltage, high speed CMOS octal inverting buffer/line driver with 3-state outputs from Toshiba. It has a wide power supply voltage range of 1.65-3.6V and fast propagation delay of 5.5 ns. This device features active low output enable (OE) control and has an input clamping diode with both an input and output Schmitt Trigger capability. The high output drive capability of this chip makes it suitable for high speed and low voltage applications such as waveform generators, A/D converters, interface circuits, memory buffers and memory address drivers. This device is available in an 8-pin (SOP 8mm) SOIC package.
