The TM1628A is a LED display driver manufactured by Titan Micro with SOIC-28-300mil packaging and is RoHS compliant. This device can be used to drive a 7-segment, 16 common anode segment LED display. It features internal circuitry for driving the common anode pins, a 4-bit latch register for character display and a 2-bit latch register for phase control segment display. The TM1628A also has built-in voltage and over-current protection, as well as 3-line LED display data interface and serial input/output link. This device is especially suited for applications using serial communication, such as battery powered devices, where low power consumption is important.
