CompanyThe ULN2003AD is a seven Darlington pair transistor array manufactured by Texas Instruments Company. It features high-voltage and high-current Darlington arrays that can be used to function as a switch for loads requiring up to 500mA and 50V. It comes with an enable (EN) input which can be used to turn the switch on or off. The device is ideal for driving relays, solenoids, LED displays and other types of loads. It is designed to be compatible with all forms of TTL logic, making it easy to integrate into a variety of circuits. It has built in protection diodes for inductive load driving and protection from high-voltage transients. The ULN2003AD also comes with a thermal shutdown feature for added protection.
