The TPS5430DDAR with Switching Voltage Regulators is a 5.5 to 36V input 3A step-down converter used to generate a regulated output voltage of 5V. It is manufactured by Texas Instruments and features adjustable current-limit, low ripple noise, VOUT tracking/shutdown, and precision enable functions. An internal logic-controlled thermal shutdown and an external MOSFET current-limit function protect the device during overload conditions. This device provides high efficiency and fast transient response for applications such as DC-to-DC converters, 7.2V Li-ion battery chargers, and external power supplies.
