The TL431AIDBZR with Voltage References Adjustable Precision Shunt Regulator is a three-terminal shunt regulator designed to offer precision voltage regulation with a low temperature coefficient. This particular model from Texas Instruments is easily adjustable with two external resistors, allowing for accurate voltage regulation over a wide range of operating temperatures. It is equipped with an internal reference voltage of 2.5 V and can also be programmed with an external reference voltage. This allows for accurate regulation over a wide range of output voltages. The device is designed for high accuracy with a guaranteed 0.5% tolerance over the entire temperature range. The output voltage is adjustable from 1.25 V to 37 V with a maximum output current of 100 mA. Additionally, this device features low power dissipation, making it an ideal choice for battery-operated applications.
