TCA9803DGKR

The TCA9803DGKR is an 8-VSSOP -40 to 125 manufactured by Texas Instruments. It is an 2-bit level-translating 400-kHz I2C/SMBus buffer/repeater with an internal 3-mA current source. It is designed for high-speed communications application while isolating the main host controller from the effects of the slow I2C bus, and allowing multiple devices to be attached to a single bus. The integrated level translators allow a controller to be powered from a dual-voltage supply while communicating with both 1.8V and 3.3V compatible devices on the same bus. In addition, it provides robust driver capabilities which protect against bus faults and eliminate the need for additional bus protection devices.
