The SN74LVC2GU04DBVR part of Texas Instruments is a quadruple buffer with open-drain outputs. It is an uncommitted logic device containing four independent 2-input gates. This device has output-enable (OE) control for each gate, and these OE control inputs are active low. The outputs can be connected together to provide bus expansion. This device is used to increase data bus width, isolate signal paths and sources, or to clock data latches and registers. It has a low voltage capability with a 2.7 V to 3.6 V power supply and is designed with TTL-level compatibility. It has a CMOS low power consumption, high noise immunity, and low output dynamic impedance. The device is packaged in an SC-88 package.
