The SN74LVC04APWR is a quad buffer/line driver from Texas Instruments. This part is housed in a Greenpack SO-14 package and is an inverting buffer. It has a single bidirectional data line, capable of accepting a high-level data signal on any of the four buffers and then driving the output to a low level. The cornering protection diodes ensure that the device can withstand electrical transients from data cables or other transient sources. This device is ideal for driving high capacitance loads and ensures a reliable logic level transition over long bus lines.
