The SN74AVC16T245DGGR is a 16-bit dual supply bus transceiver manufactured by Texas Instruments. It is designed for voltage-level translation between systems of different voltage levels, such as between TTL and LVTTL (Low to High Voltage Transistor to Transistor Logic) and between TTL and 5.0 V CMOS. It can also be used to drive PECL ( Positive Emitter-Coupled Logic ) or LVPECL (Low-Voltage Positive Emitter-Coupled Logic) signals, and can be used with LVDS (Low Voltage Differential Signaling) or transmit or receive signals with digital signal levels. It is the industry’s first bus transceiver with an adjustable output voltage between 3.0 V and 6.0 V. This allows for simplified board design and better noise immunity. It is a perfect solution for high-speed data communication between two systems of different voltage levels, such as those found commonly in consumer and computer systems, as well as a wide range of communications and data processing applications. This device is packaged in a 64-pin thermally enhanced VQFN (Quad Flat No-Lead) package and is qualified for operation in industrial temperature range of -40 °C to +85 °C.
