The ESDS302DBVR is an electronic part made by Texas Instruments that is used to protect most USB and Ethernet devices from Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) and Surge damage. It has a dual 4.5-pF, 3.6-V +/- 30-kV ESD protection diode capable of handling up to 12-A 8/20-uS surge currents. It is available in 5-SOT-23 packaging operating over an extended temperature range from -40 to 125°C. The part has been designed as a low capacitance solution which enables compatibility with high-data-rate interfaces.
