The DAC5571IDBVR Digital to Analog Converter (DAC) from Texas Instruments is an 8-bit, low-power, high-speed converter that utilizes an I2C protocol interface. This device is suitable for mobile and portable applications such as remote sensors, instrumentation, and portable medical equipment. It has a wide operating voltage range of 2.7V to 5.5V, and it is can be used in both 3.3V and 5V environments. It provides up to 8-bits of resolution programmable from 0 to 255. The DAC5571IDBVR supports a maximized update rate of 3MHz while providing industry-leading accuracy and stability. The device features a very low power 72 µA quiescent current. The DAC5571IDBVR supports a 1.8V to 5.5V I2C bus interface with up to 400 kHz clock rate, allowing faster communication for portable, battery-powered applications. It also features an internal shutdown mode, allowing the device to draw less than 1uA of current. With its ultra-low power design, the DAC5571IDBVR is ideal for portable and battery-operated applications.
