The CD4051BPWR is a Texas Instruments 8-Channel Analog Multiplexer Switch IC. This IC is an 8-channel analog multiplexer and an 8-channel analog demultiplexer. The multiplexer allows up to eight analog signals to be routed into one output line, while the demultiplexer routes one analog signal into eight different lines. The multiplexer/demultiplexer can be controlled via two logic inputs, which allow up to 256 different signal combinations. The analog multiplexer and demultiplexer also features low ON resistance of less than 1 ohm, rail-to-rail signal switching, total harmonic distortion of 0.02%, and wide power supply range of 10V to 18V. The CD4051BPWR is available in a small 8 pin SOIC package.
