The TP4056 is an SOP-8-EP Battery Management Integrated Circuit (BMC)] manufactured by TECH PUBLIC Ltd. It is a single-chip solution that can effectively manage the charging and protection of single-cell lithium-ion batteries. It features a constant-current/constant-voltage charge algorithm, low operating current, and a minimum operating temperature of -40°C. The device also features reverse polarity protection and over-charge, over-discharge, over-current, and short-circuit protection. The TP4056 is RoHS compliant with an operating temperature range of -20°C to +85°C.
