The ULN2003A with Driver is a Darlington transistor array manufactured by STMicroelectronics in a DIP16 package and is composed of seven independent high voltage arrays. It is rated for 0.5A with a maximum voltage of 50V and can be used to drive larger loads such as relays, motors, and solenoids. The ULN2003A can also be used as an interface between logic circuits and higher current/voltage loads, providing both an external sink and an external source, and eliminating the need for high voltage power supplies.
