The TSM1052 with Current & Power Monitors & Regulators Constant Vltg Current Controller is a combined broadband control circuit intended for adaptive heating applications. It is manufactured by STMicroelectronics and provides a simple constant current coupled with ways to monitor current and power. The IC works by measuring the voltage drop across the device’s current sensing resistor and then regulating it to the value set on the control terminal. This way, it can easily provide an effective and reliable closed-loop current source, current preventer, or current limiter in a wide range of loads. Its integrated features also safeguard against overload, thermal runaway, and short-circuits. Additionally, it provides power measurement capabilities up to 10A and temperature sensing capabilities up to 150°C.
