The TSC2012IST is a current sense amplifier and interface designed to interface directly with a strain gauge, typically used for measuring temperature, pressure, force, acceleration, and other physical quantities. The device is manufactured by STMicroelectronics. It comes in an 8-pin SO-8 package and features an integrated temperature-compensated amplification stage, plus isolation and calibration for improved accuracy and repeatability. The TSC2012IST also features input protection up to +/- 30V. This device is designed to ensure a high signal-to-noise ratio and excellent temperature stability. It can measure current up to +/- 15A in bipolar mode. The device also offers 2 integrated linear DACs for gain and offset adjustments, as well as an analog output for linearized measurements.
