The STUSB4761QTR with USB Interface IC Conditioning & Interfaces is a universal serial bus (USB) power delivery (PD) controller manufactured by STMicroelectronics. It is designed to enable multiple power supplies within a device by using an innovative, configurable, and fully compliant USB Type-C interface. This IC is capable of conditioning multiple power supplies and providing an interface for all power delivery and USB requirements. It has a configurable architecture that provides support for emerging PD peer-to-peer applications. It supports multiple PD and USB3.2 protocols, such as type-C Alternate Mode (Alt Mode), optional 4-channel data toggle or forwarding for new host-peripheral roles, and USB2.0 and USB Power Delivery (PD) support. The device also features advanced safety and security features, such as secure channel protection from incorrect consumer actions, over-discharge protection for each cell, and current limiting to protect against over-current and short circuit conditions. The IC also integrates over-temperature protection, reverse current protection, tracking of system voltages, and ADCs for monitoring.
