It provides output capabilities for Dual independent limiters/compressors DDX . In conjunction with a DDX power device, Dynamic range compression the STA309A provides high-quality, Automode: high-efficiency, all digital amplification. The device is extremely versatile, allowing inputs of most 5-band graphic EQ digital formats including 6.1/7.1-channel and 32 preset EQ curves (rock, jazz, pop, etc.) 192 kHz, 24-bit DVD-audio, DSD/SACD. In 5.1 Automatic volume controlled loudness applications the additional 2 channels can be 5.1 to 2-channel downmix used for audio line-out or headphone drive. In Simultaneous 5.1- and 2-channel downmix speaker mode, with 8 channel outputs in parallel, outputs the STA309A can deliver more than 1 W. 3 preset volume curves Table 1.
