The M74HC595YRM13TR is a 8-bit shift register and latch integrated circuit manufactured by STMicroelectronics. It features a shift register, shift register control, 8 3-state output latches and 3-state output control. This part is based on the high speed CMOS technology and provides total power dissipation of 0.13W. It has typically tPHL/tPLH outputs of 8/10ns and noise immunity of 0.45Vcc (typical). It can operate in the temperature range of -40°C to 125°C and storage temperature of -65°C to 150°C. Combining the advantages of parallel-in/serial-out and serial-in/parallel-out functions, the device can be used to multiply the number of available output lines in microcontroller applications. The device has an operating voltage range of 2-6V and is available in a plastic SO16 package.
