The (JESD 17) injection current effect control allows signals at ESD performance disabled input channels to exceed the supply voltage range or go down to ground without HBM: 2000 V affecting the signal of the enabled analog MM: 200 V channel. CDM: 1000 V This eliminates the need for external diode- resistor networks typically used to keep the analog channel signals within the supply voltage range. Table 1.
