LPS25HB MEMS pressure sensor: 260-1260 hPa absolute digital output barometer Datasheet - production data Applications Altimeter and barometer for portable devices Enhanced GPS applications Weather station equipment Wearable devices HLGA-10L (2.5 x 2.5 x 0.76 mm typ.) Description The LPS25HB is a piezoresistive absolute pressure sensor which functions as a digital Features output barometer. The device comprises a 260 to 1260 hPa absolute pressure range sensing element and an IC interface which 2 communicates through I C or SPI from the High-resolution mode: 0.01 hPa RMS sensing element to the application. Low power consumption The sensing element, which detects absolute Low-resolution mode: 4 A pressure, consists of a suspended membrane Low current & noise mode with FIFO: manufactured using a dedicated process 4.5 A developed by ST. High overpressure capability: 20x full scale The LPS25HB is available in a full-mold, holed Embedded temperature compensation LGA package (HLGA). It is guaranteed to operate 24-bit pressure data output over a temperature range extending from -30 to +105 C. The package is holed to allow external ODR from 1 Hz to 25 Hz pressure to reach the sensing element. 2 SPI and I C interfaces Embedded FIFO Interrupt functions: Data Ready, FIFO flags, pressure thresholds Supply voltage: 1.7 to 3.6 V High shock survivability: 10,000 g ECOPACK lead-free compliant Table 1.
