LM217MDT-TR is a 2A adjustable positive voltage regulator from the STMicroelectronics range of low-dropout (LDO) regulators. It is available in a TO-263-3 (DPAK) surface mount package. This component is capable of providing a regulated output voltage between 1.2V to 37V, while operating within a temperature range of -40°C to 125°C. It also has short-circuit protection with a current-limit to ensure that the device does not operate outside its specified range when used in an application. It provides low-noise operation, line and load regulation, good output accuracy, and low quiescent current.
