The BLUENRG-355MC is an RF system-on-chip (SoC) manufactured by STMicroelectronics with low power requirements and enhanced RF performance for wireless systems. It is suitable for use in Bluetooth Low Energy, Thread, Zigbee, 6LoWPAN, and proprietary RF systems. The BLUENRG-355MC integrates a Cortex-M3 microcontroller core with both a high performance digital modem and RF transceiver. The on-chip peripheral set includes SRAM, flash memory, GPIOs, ADCs, timers, AES coprocessors, a low power UART, and a ROM bootloader. The chip has a -93 dBm sensitivity, a +9 dBm TX power, and a reliable communication range of up to 400 meters in ideal conditions. STMicroelectronics also offers its BlueSDK development platform to enable easy software development with the BLUENRG-355MC.
