M05 Actuator Magnet Description The M05 is one of our smallest rectangular magnets in housing featuring a single slot for adjustable screw mounting. The M05 is as an actuator which is used in conjunction with our various reed sensor series. Bringing the magnet into proximity with the reed switch internal to the sensor will close the contacts. When the magnet is withdrawn, the reed contacts will re-open. The open and closure points of the reed sensor will vary depending on it s internal reed switch as well as the size, strength, position and movement of the permanent magnets.
