The AMS1117-3.3 is a low dropout regulator, or LDO, produced by SLKORMICRO and packaged in a SOT-223 RoHS-compliant package. It is a 3.3V device with a maximum output current of 1A and a maximum drop out voltage of 1.3V at a loading current of 500mA. It has an operating temperature range from -40°C to 125°C and short-circuit protection with thermal shutdown. The LDO is ideal for use in applications requiring low quiescent current, low noise, and cost efficiency. The device contains high PSRR at high frequency, which makes it suitable for post-regulation of DC/DC converter output.
