The CP2102N-A02-GQFN28R with USB Interface IC is a USB-to-UART bridge manufactured by Silicon Labs that provides an easy way to add a USB interface to a system. This chip provides an ultra-low-power, cost-effective way of enabling USB functionality in high-volume applications. It has an on-chip oscillator, regulator and level-shifter, which allows it to be used in low-voltage applications requiring either a 3.3V or 5V (user-selectable) operating voltage. The bridge supports full-duplex asynchronous data communication at data rates up to 3Mbps and full handshake control signals. Additionally, it is integrated with 10KB FIFO buffers enabling robust data transfer reliability and offers power savings with an active current consumption of only 100µA in USB suspend mode. The chip is housed in a 28-Pin QFN package and is also available in a 32-Pin Lead Free package. It is designed to the USB 2.0 specification and is compliant to the USB-IF’s USB CDC Class and EEM’s Ethernet emulation modules.
