The DOS-2312-G is a digital optical sensor manufactured by Sick AG. It is designed for use in industrial automation applications in which object positioning needs to be accurately measured. It features three integrated, analog outputs that provide a resolution of 0.5 µm for a range of up to 1500 mm. It is also equipped with a standard IO-Link interface, allowing it to be easily connected to other networked devices. The DOS-2312-G is both IP67 and IP69K-rated, meaning it is dust- and waterproof, making it suitable for use in harsh environments.
