The 78M15 with TO-252 Linear Voltage Regulators (LDO) ROHS manufactured by Shikues is a three-terminal Regulator that provides an output voltage of 5V typically with a very low quiescent current of only 75uA. It includes features such as built-in thermal shutdown, output over voltage protection and short-circuit protection as well as having excellent load/line regulation specs. The topper package includes a separate GND pin which improves the efficiency and greatly increases power dissipation. This product is RoHS compliant, meaning it is lead-free and meets environmental safety regulations.
