The GP2Y1026AU0F is an air quality sensor manufactured by Sharp. It is an optical dust sensor that uses infrared scatter technology to detect the presence of dust particles in the air. The sensor measures the amount of dust in the air in µg/m3 in concentrations between 0.5 to 10. It works with a supply voltage of 4.5 to 5.5 VDC and the output signal is an analog voltage that depends on the concentration of the dust particles. The GP2Y1026AU0F also has a short response time of less than 1 second so that it can quickly detect changes in the air quality. It is suitable for use in air quality measurement and control systems.
