SM712.TCT is an integrated circuit, designed and manufactured by Semtech. It is a high-speed, single-chip, 4-port 10/100/1000M Ethernet Transceiver. It is designed to provide high-performance interconnectivity in consumer, industrial, enterprise and automotive systems. It supports MAC/TX data rates of 10/100/1000 Mbps, supporting full/halfduplex and auto-detection modes. It also supports advanced ECO features such as wake on LAN (WOL), low-power modes and integrated loopback. SM712.TCT also supports advanced diagnostic functions, such as Cable Diagnostics and PHY loopback, which enable designers to accurately verify the physical-layer performance of the network.
