The ICL7660AIBAZA is a CMOS Voltage Converter IC made by Renesas Electronics. It is a low power, low dropout (LDO) voltage regulator, designed to convert an input voltage of up to 7V DC to an output voltage of between 0.5V and 5V DC. The device can operate from a supply voltage of 1.8V to 11V and is capable of supplying up to 100mA of output current. The ICL7660AIBAZA can operate in a variety of different frequency modes, allowing it to switch the output voltage at different speeds. It also has thermal protection to protect the device from overheating and overcurrent protection to protect against short circuits.
