The SS201N with Discharge Tubes (GDT/TSS) SMD RoHS manufactured by Polytronics is a Surface Mount Device (SMD) that is compliant to Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) regulations. It is a discharge tube designed to protect electrical components by providing a low impedance path to ground in the event of an electrical surge. The SS201N features a potted design that is capable of dissipating up to 17000A (8/20us) of transient current. It features fast-acting gate triggeX voltage, low triggering current, low capacitance, and extensive design flexibility. The SS201N has an operating temperature range of -40ºC to +125ºC and can be used in a variety of applications such as power electronics, peripherals (SATA, USB), and RF applications.
