Robotics The QTRX-HD-06RC Reflectance Sensor Array from Pololu Robotics is a six-channel analog reflectance sensor that takes infrared light from the environment and converts it into digital signals. It is designed to measure the reflectance of surfaces to detect and follow lines and edges, avoid obstacles, and measure ambient light levels. The array is housed in a 6-pin single row right-angle through-hole package. The output of each channel is an analog voltage that is proportional to the measured reflecting or ambient light intensity. The range of the readings is adjustable using the built-in potentiometer. The QTRX-HD-06RC array has a fast response time and wide dynamic range, making it suitable for use in obstacle avoidance and line-following robotics applications.
