Additional Infomation About Product

The QTRX-HD-01RC Reflectance Sensor is a high-definition reflectance sensor array from Pololu. This part contains an array of eight individual reflectance sensors with an array of reflectance LED emitters on the opposite side. Each LED emitter is matched with a sensor for a total of eight single sensing points. The total array has a wide detection angle to detect any object that is nearby. Its multiple sensing points make it ideal for providing line following and edge-detection readings. It is built around the TAOS TSL2651CS IC and it is powered by a 5V supply. The output of each sensing point is an analog voltage. With its high contrast ratios, the Reflectance Sensor is capable of reliable object detections. The output can also be connected to a microcontroller for line following, edge detection, and other forms of sensing.
