2. DC Motor Controller: This component operates the robot's motors and governs its acceleration, turning speed and direction. It includes an 8-bit microcontroller and a PWM (pulse width modulation) driver.
3. Battery: The robot is powered by an 8-cell NiMH (Nickel-metal-hydride) rechargeable battery pack. It provides an average of 7 hours run time.
4. Chassis Frame: The ROBOCHASSIS RRC04A SOLID WHITE consists of a white plastic chassis frame to provide the required structure and support to the entire robotic platform.
5. Control Afterburner: This component is a customization of the standard Pololu afterburner unit. It adds additional features and capabilities to the standard Pololu afterburner and provides link management, custom processing and communication capabilities with additional third-party protocols.
