The Panasonic Electronic Materials ER-X001 is a liquid crystal material that produces an extremely strong, light-blocking effect. This material is used to make liquid crystal displays (LCDs) darker, reducing the amount of unwanted light while increasing contrast and color intensity. ER-X001 can also absorb some ultraviolet light, and can be used to reduce the visibility of fingerprints on a display. ER-X001 has a fast response time, making it ideal for use in displays that require quick response times, such as gaming monitors.
