The OF-SMD2012W part of Optoflash is a miniaturised edge light unit designed to provide a homogeneous, directional light effect. It is a surface-mounted device (SMD) that features a single low-power white LED light source with optional colours of amber, red and blue. The edge of the light unit is surrounded by a plastic body with an injection-molded cover that has been designed to provide an efficient light distribution. The light unit also features high thermal and electrical stability, making it suitable for a variety of outdoor and indoor applications.
