NC7SB3157P6X is a Single-Pole/Single-Throw (SPST) analog switch manufactured by ON Semiconductor. It has one channel and is suitable for use as a demultiplexer/multiplexer in portable communication and low-voltage consumer electronics applications. It is an ideal switch for applications such as connecting two signals and cutting off one signal if the other signal fails. The low voltage operation range of the switch is from 1V to 5V, with low power dissipation of 0.9mW and 0.7mW for CMOS and TTL respectively. It is designed for a very low charge injection of 0.2pC, to ensure a low distortion of signal values when the switch is in the ON state. This analog switch has been designed to operate at a fast switching speed of 25ns in both directions, making it the ideal switch for high-speed applications.
