The MCT62 is a standard SCR Thyristor manufactured by ON Semiconductor. It is a three-terminal semiconductor device that can be used as a switching device or as an electronic controller, regulator and amplifier. The MCT62 can be used in the Absorptive Mode, and is capable of absorbing up to 1A or 56A, depending on the package size. With a maximum blocking voltage of 400V, the device is suitable for most low-power applications.
