The HCPL0730 CTR guaranteed 0C to 70C and HCPL0731 devices have two channels per package U.L. Recognized (le E90700) for optimum mounting density. VDE 0884 recognized (le 136616) The split darlington conguration separating the input approval pending for HCPL0730/0731 photodiode and the rst stage gain from the output tran- BSI recognized (le 8661, 8662) sistor permits lower output saturation voltage and higher HCPL0700/0701 only speed operation than possible with conventional darling- ton phototransistor optocoupler. Applications The combination of a very low input current of 0.5mA Digital logic ground isolation and a high current transfer ratio of 2000% makes this Telephone ring detector family particularly useful for input interface to MOS, EIA-RS-232C line receiver CMOS, LSTTL and EIA RS232C, while output compati- bility is ensured to CMOS as well as high fan-out TTL High common mode noise line receiver requirements.
