FXLA0104 Low-Voltage Dual-Supply 4-Bit Voltage Translator FXLA0104 Low-Voltage Dual-Supply 4-Bit Voltage Translator with Configurable Voltage Supplies and Signal Levels, 3-State Outputs, and Auto Direction Sensing Features Description The FXLA0104 is a configurable dual-voltage supply Bi-Directional Interface betw een Tw o Levels: translator for both uni-directional and bi-directional from 1.1 V to 3.6 V voltage translation betw een tw o logic levels. The device Fully Configurable: Inputs and Outputs Track V CC allows translation between voltages as high as 3.6 V to as low as 1.1 V. The A port tracks the V level and the CCA Non-Preferential Pow er-Up Either V May Be CC B port tracks the V level. This allow s for bi-directional CCB Pow ered Up First voltage translation over a variety of voltage levels: Outputs Sw itch to 3-State if Either VCC is at GND 1.2 V, 1.5 V, 1.8 V, 2.5 V, and 3.3 V. Pow er-Off Protection The device remains in three-state as long as either =0V, allowing either V to be powered up first. VCC CC Bus-Hold on Data Inputs Eliminates the Need for Internal power-down control circuits place the device in Pull-Up Resistors Do Not Use Pull-Up Resistors on 3-state if either V is removed. CC A or B Ports The OE input, when LOW, disables both the A and B Control Input (OE) Referenced to VCCA Voltage ports by placing them in a 3-state condition. The OE Available in the 12-Lead, 1.7 mm x 2.0 mm UMLP input is supplied by V . CCA Package The FXLA0104 supports bi-directional translation Direction Control Not Necessary without the need for a direction control pin. The two ports of the device have auto-direction sense capability. 100 Mbps Throughput when Translating Betw een Either port may sense an input signal and transfer it as 1.8 V and 2.5 V an output signal to the other port.
