The OB2506PCPA is an integrated power management IC (PMIC) made by On-Bright that provides a wide range of protection and power management functions for battery-powered applications. It contains a buck converter, low dropout linear regulator, high-side switch circuit, battery charger, low power zero-detection circuit, thermal protection, current-sense amplifier, and thermal monitoring. The IC is capable of providing up to 6A of current and can support a wide voltage range of 4.5V to 44V. It has a 150mil SOP-8 surface mount package and complies with RoHS requirements for lead-free operation.
