Resistors The HS15 5R J is a high-power ceramic resistor from the HS15 series of Ohmite Resistors. It features a 5 Ohm resistance with a power rating of 15W at 25°C. It is composed of a high-temperature tolerant, non-inductive ceramic material with a nickel-chrome alloy resistor element and a high-temperature epoxy coating to protect the resistor from moisture and dust. The resistor has a wide temperature range of -65°C to +200°C and can be used in applications such as motor speed controls and power supply protection circuits.
