The PCA9548APW,118, manufactured by NXP, is an 8-channel I2C Switch IC with a reset feature. It has an I2C bus switch circuit that helps increase the number of I2C buses connected between multiple devices. It can be used to expand the number of channels and reduce the length of the I2C bus. This device includes an active high reset input pin which, when enabled, reinitializes the connection between the I2C bus and all connected devices.
